KUALA LUMPUR: Two young Sabahan shuttlers will represent Malaysia at the YONEX Singha-Qingdao Jinyuan-BTY Championships to be held at the Banthongyord Badminton School in Bangkok, Thailand beginning Nov 4.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the achievements of Tia Sharee Quiban, 11 and Zen Isaac Quiban, 8, were commendable.
“I wish you all the best and make Malaysia and Sabah proud,” he said when meeting the siblings here on Monday.
Tia and Zen who resides in Putrajaya are training under the tutelage of professional coaches in the Nusa Mahsuri Badminton Club and Serdang Badminton Club.
