KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor witnessed the signing ceremony between Sabah state’s oil and gas company SMJ Sdn Bhd (SMJSB) and AmInvestment Bank Berhad (AIBB) to mark the inaugural issuance of RM900 million Sukuk Wakalah under its RM10 billion AAA-Rated Multi-Currency Islamic Medium-Term Notes programme.
Chief Executive Officer Dr Dionysia Kibat signed on behalf of SMJSB, while Head of Debts Market Yeoh Teik Leng represented AIBB in a ceremony today at the Sabah
International Convention Centre (SICC).
Also present were Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, who is also SMJSB Chairman, State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong, Technical Advisor to the Sabah Government cum SMJSB Special Advisor Datuk Seri
Lim Haw Kuang, AIBB Chief Executive Officer Tracy Chen and Ambank Business Bank Managing Director Christopher Yap.
